The original Audi R8 was powered by a turbocharged V8 sending power to all four wheels, and was so cool that Ironman’s Tony Stark drove one. Sadly, 2023 will be the Audu R8’s last year, so to ensure it goes out with a bang, 333 GT versions will be created, tweaked for pure, unadulterated performance. The rear wing is the first clue this is no ordinary R8 — powered by a 602-hp 40-valve V10, linked by a 7-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission, all power goes to the rear wheels, propelling it to a top speed of 199 mph, making it the most powerful rear-wheel-drive Audi ever built. The R8 GT is an excellent choice for those who crave the raw performance of a Lamborghini Huracán, but can do without the Skittles-inspired colors and over-the-top flamboyance; AudiUSA.com.
