Since 2003, James Duncan, Inc., has been providing outstanding design services in Key Biscayne and Miami. Over the years, we’ve watched the firm expand their market to include New York City, Ocean Reef and The Hamptons. James & Miriam Duncan have also been designing furniture for the James Duncan Collection in design centers throughout New York, Los Angeles and Miami. They have also been traveling the world sourcing art, furniture and accessories for their clients. Having found success offering their services to private clients, they decided to expand their services to the general public by curating a collection of some of their favorite things. The focus at Duncan Curated will be on the home — furniture, lighting, rugs, window treatments, wallpaper and art. The new showroom will also include such style-related items as bracelets, necklaces, custom watches, hats, books and objects from their travels. Their new Key Biscayne office and showroom next to Starbucks will be open to the public in September. Website to follow in early 2020; James-Duncan.com.

There’s something deeply personal about a portrait, and Maria Rosa Sevilla Abad understands that better than most.
Still Waters
Some of the pieces in this editorial took 300 hours to make. Some were crafted by hand in Miami. Some exist as one-of-a-kind in the world. Shot at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Still Waters is an introduction to the women who build their businesses stitch by stitch, bead by bead, and to the women who wear them. Not because she was told to, but because she knows the difference.
