Haute House

The top hotels once took their cues from wealthy homes. Today, upscale homes take design ideas from lavish tourist destinations, often featuring the same beautiful yet durable materials, such as Rosa Gres tiles.

A prime example of the hotel-to-home design trend is the Cascade, Turks & Caicos Villas, a touristic complex of luxury homes conceived by Ron Shaw of R.A. Shaw Designs and executed by architect Ian Vanwalleghem. Rosa Gres tiles were selected for their esthetic and highly complete series of pieces and finishes. This characteristic makes them unique and ideal for all type of surfaces, indoors and outdoors, as well as pools. The ocean and intense Caribbean light are the natural framework for the gray & white construction, which uses one collection and one color — Mistery Grey — for terraces, overflow pools, waterfalls, indoor flooring, kitchens, baths and stairs. The result is a style unity that runs throughout the project and achieves perfect integration with the environment. Feeling inspired?
