Watermelon & Arugula Salad
These ingredients are considered aphrodisiacs by many and are sure to get the party started. Arugula is packed with antioxidants proven to block contaminates that could negatively affect libido; and watermelon contains lycopene which increases circulation and relaxes the body, creating a Viagra-like effect. Make sure to use olive oil as dressing…after all, Ancient Greeks believed olives increased virility and they had more than their fair share of romps in the hay.

Grilled Oysters
Oysters are one of the most celebrated aphrodisiacs around, and cooking them takes very little time and can be done while you sip on some wine. Brine the oysters with some butter and chili pepper for a little added spice. Since oysters contain naturally occurring amino acids that trigger the production of sex hormones, the endorphin stimulation of the peppers will have you both sharing and caring before, during and after dinner.

Coffee Jolt
Coffee is by far the world’s most acceptable stimulant and might be exactly what you need to end your night on a high note. After the wine and dessert is all gone, you might be feeling a bit drowsy. But don’t worry, coffee’s got your back. A good ol’ cup o’ joe will not only increase bloodflow and heart rate, it will help prepare you and your sweetheart for a long night of quality time…after all, wasn’t that why you slaved over a hot stove all day anyway?
