The future of the connected home is here with the announcement of the Revolv Smart Home App for Google Glass — those Star Trek-looking glasses you see on the news that will revolutionize how we live and interact with technology. Initial Glass hardware controls include voice recognition, a small-gesture touchpad and side button for easy access to typical smart home features such as thermostats, lights, smart plugs, locks, cameras, home entertainment systems and more. There are currently about 2,000 Google Glass prototypes, but more are coming in 2014, along with potential style partnerships with top manufacturers such as Ray Ban.
