Bowing to almost 50 years of enthusiasts asking the company to re-release the “Jaws Watch” — Alsta will produce a limited run of 1,975 pieces of the Nautoscaph Superautomatic. While the new model is clearly the descendant of the watch worn in the movie by marine biologist “Matt Hooper,” notable upgrades were introduced. In addition to a shark embossed on the bracelet’s locking clasp and engraved on the housing’s back, the new version features a larger 38mm 316L anti-magnetic stainless steel case to protect the upgraded self-winding movement to depths of 999 feet. A sapphire crystal delivers superior durability to the mineral crystal, but as was the case with the original, the new edition does not feature a magnifier over the date. The result is a very practical, superbly constructed dive watch that can be worn from the reef to the office. In a world of lookalike dive watches, this limited-edition release is a must for serious collectors; AlstaWatch.com.

When Elia Returned
On the edge of the Miami River, where sun meets memory, her spirit lingers. Elia — radiant, free, unforgettable. We chose the restaurant Elia on the River as the setting for this story, drawn to its ability to embody both the romance and the raw beauty we imagined. With its stunning waterfront views and a menu that marries coastal flavors with the richness of locally sourced ingredients, Elia on the River offers more than just a dining experience — it creates a world where every detail feels intentional, layered, and alive.
