Miami-based William Orosio creates vibrant paintings that fall within a style of renewed Figurative Expressionism. Born in Cuba in 1989, he began his artistic journey while still in grade school. He honed his dynamic craft at the School of Fine Arts in his city of Holguin, later choosing to pursue his dreams by emigrating to the U.S., where he embraced becoming a self-taught artist. He credits this as a key factor in the spontaneity of his work. Margins of Truth presents Osorio’s exploration into the concept that identity is more of a journey than a destination. In these works, he deconstructs the flexibility of our condition and how it is impacted by culture and day-to-day surroundings. This is the artist’s second solo exhibition at LnS Gallery; Mar. 17-May 21; WilliamOrosioArt.com; LnSGallery.com.
