A Colombian-American abstract artist, Mariana Cordoba grew up in Key Biscayne and fell in love with painting because colors and textures provide her the perfect emotional escape. “Creating art brings me the most happiness,” she says. “Bringing the perfect piece to life — one that clearly depicts my thoughts and emotions — fills me with joy. I live in the moment, snatching bits of inspiration from everyday people and figures that evolve into captivating textures, depths and colors.” Once the artist internalizes the subject, she sets off to paint it with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and excitement. “I strongly believe that everyone should be able to interpret my art as they feel in the moment,” she says. “I feel very intense emotions when I paint and transmit it through my work.”; Pinta.Art.
