Social Grace

The best part of the social season has little to do with how many events make it onto your calendar, and more to do with how you choose to show up.

The social season can become a blur of invitations, cocktail hours, galas and dinners, but the best part has little to do with how many events make it onto your calendar, and more to do with how you choose to show up. Some evenings will be spectacular. Others may surprise you in unexpected ways. A conversation with a new acquaintance can be just as thrilling as being the highest bidder.

Dress for the occasion, arrive with energy, and always give your full attention to the people in front of you. Be gracious. Ask questions. Remember names. The most memorable social lives are not built on collecting invitations. They are established on genuine connections, good conversation and enjoying every moment. Let the season unfold. You might be surprised where it takes you.
