The moment you step onto the tarmac from a Gulfstream jet, everyone watching knows you’ve made it. Gulfstream jets are the gold standard of aircraft, with the $65 million G650 established as the ultimate in luxurious private travel. Now, however, the torch has been passed to the new G700. The evolution was straight-forward, as Gulfstream simply increased the cabin size to make it the widest and longest available, utilized the latest high-tech Rolls-Royce high-thrust engines and created their proprietary, cutting-edge Symmetry Flight Deck to tie it all together. A top speed of Mach 0.90 combined with a range of up to 13,890 nautical miles and a fuselage that can be laid out to allow up to 5 living areas, means that the G700 is essentially a more compact version of Air Force One.
