Just as the child protagonist of her first book, The Day An Angel Ran Into My Room, is surprised by a visit from her guardian angel, Author Anabelle Valenzuela-Alarcon was pleasantly surprised a couple of years ago when an ad on Facebook lead to the publication of a book that sat in her closet for 18 years. The lesson for children within the story is that they have the power to change the world through their thoughts and deeds, and that they are never alone because their guardian angel is always by their side. This indeed seems to be the case for Valenzuela-Alarcon as well, with her life imitating her art. Throughout her journey, she’s learned that if you strongly believe in something and never let the picture in your head go, it will eventually happen; TheDayAnAngelRanIntoMyRoom.com.
