Artful Conception

For Ytech’s Yamal Yidios and ACPV Architects’ Antonio Citterio, kitchens represent the social change and evolution of homes. Previously separate, independent spaces, they are now incorporated into living rooms and treated as something to display.

At The Residences at 1428 Brickell, where luxury is about living life on your terms, the kitchens are designed around the concept of “not only being a space dedicated to the delightful preparation of food, but also a space that can easily welcome in the other varied elements of daily life,” according to ACPV Architects’ Antonio Citterio. The chef-quality Arclinea and Vaselli kitchens designed by Citterio in the project are both the heart of the home and a symphony of modern innovation, featuring appliances by Gaggenau, and are uniquely framed by a Rimadesio glass enclosure. They are crafted with the finest materials, including Italian marble countertops and limestone backsplashes to create a sophisticated and timeless look. “Each kitchen is designed to rework tradition, combining an elegant aesthetic approach with a contemporary functional vision often seen in the best professional chef’s kitchens,” says Ytech’s Yamal Yidios. “Something never before seen in Miami, this structure gives residents the flexibility for the entire kitchen to be open for entertainment or closed off for a more elegant experience, seamlessly accommodating the changing scenes of life.”; 1428Brickell.com.
