To celebrate the 175th Anniversary of Watchmaking in Glashütte, Nomos has introduced a limited edition, stainless steel version of their iconic Lamda. Set in a 40mm highly polished housing, the glossy lacquered dial, available in white, blue or black, has the appearance of a fired enamel, perfectly accented by precise hour and minute marks and slim sweep hands. The result is a dial that is at once refreshing to view and easy to comprehend. The Lamda epitomizes the term “dress watch”…however, while it’s the perfect accessory for a bespoke suit, this stainless steel version is also equally at home with an untucked polo shirt and shorts. The 84-hour power reserve mechanism and features are identical to those found in the gold Lamda. A transparent rear crystal affords a glimpse of the works, accented by the balance cock inscribed with what translates to “lovingly produced in Glasshütte.”; Nomos-Glashuette.com.

Still Waters
Some of the pieces in this editorial took 300 hours to make. Some were crafted by hand in Miami. Some exist as one-of-a-kind in the world. Shot at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Still Waters is an introduction to the women who build their businesses stitch by stitch, bead by bead, and to the women who wear them. Not because she was told to, but because she knows the difference.
