Miami is thronged with titans of the development industry. But where do such powerhouses come from? Meet ROVR Development, a heavyweight in the making.

South Florida real estate news has been abuzz this last year with an innovative new developer making a big name for itself. But don’t worry, these aren’t untried-and-untrue johnny-come-latelies who don’t know a mezzanine from a mullion. With an accumulated 35 years of experience and more than $400 million of real estate currently under development or slated for commencement, ROVR Development masterminds Oscar Rodriguez and Ricardo Vadia are making a palpable mark on the city they love. Creators of the much-anticipated The Fairchild Coconut Grove, the duo first met while working for The Related Group. During that time, they delivered almost 6,000 luxury condominiums, rental and affordable housing units, with a development value of more than $1 billion. Other upcoming projects for the team include a luxury condominium tower at East Edgewater and a 402-unit luxury rental development on Biscayne Boulevard;
