Drive On

Since it first hit the road, the Audi TT has been a pint-sized fun machine inspiring drivers to take the long way home.

Named after the Tourist Trophy, a famed Isle of Man motorcycle race, the nimble, all-wheel-drive excels on twisty roads, yet is an excellent daily driver. Its original Bauhaus-inspired design that was all curves now is sleek and low-slung, with its big brother A8’s menacing grille, and sharp edges that hint at its ability to transform daily commutes into adventures. The cockpit equipped with racing-style seats fit the driver and passenger like a glove. The controls and digital gauges are laid out jet fighter-style, within easy view and reach. In Navigation Mode, the screen becomes a full-width moving map that makes wrong turns a thing of the past. Turbine-styled A/C vents produce a flurry of ice-cold air, which is a good thing on South Florida roads. Powered by an inline, turbocharged 5-cylinder engine linked to a silky-smooth 7-speed automatic transmission, the TT has a ride that won’t upset Aunt Gertrude.
