Boating, fishing, swimming or just living the salt life vicariously from afar, Biscayne Bay and its surrounding waters are one of the largest attractions of The Magic City. Miami Waterkeeper (formely Biscayne Bay Waterkeeper) is working hard to ensure a clean and vibrant Biscayne Bay and coastal culture for generations to come. Their “1,000 Eyes On The Water” initiative is a volunteer-based, citizen-led water patrol program designed to increase the organization’s ability to monitor the bay and waterways of South Florida and to understand how to identify, document and report issues. The Junior Ambassador Program is a year-long educational program that turns high school students into young environmental leaders in South Florida. There are also tiered memberships available or you can make a one-time donation option to help support everyone’s right to swimmable, drinkable and fishable waters; MiamiWaterkeeper.org.

Intrinsic Design
By purposefully incorporating nature into interior design, a one-of-a-kind collaboration aptly named The Freedom Collection, was born, lead by designer Nicola Fontanella and Paloma Teppa in partnership with Miami-based biophilic design studio Plant The Future.
Inner Canvas
In the quiet elegance of the De La Cruz Family Private Collection in Key Biscayne, the lines between muse and masterpiece dissolve. Draped in silky textures that echo the rich tones of the walls, the model moves — nostalgic, timeless and eternal. Each frame captures her presence among the storied canvases, as if she were painted into a world where art is not just displayed — it is embodied.
