When we first launched our annual “Most Beautiful People” edition a few years ago, we had no idea how much fun it would be. The most surprising thing we had to do was come up with an internal definition of “beauty”…or at least a set of criteria that would help us select the right finalists to grace our cover each year. Naive as we were back then, we never foresaw how difficult that task would be. So we left it up to the community to decide. And today, so many years later, I want to thank you for all of the nominations you’ve submitted over the years. You’ve helped us understand what beauty truly means: It’s a concept that’s simply too impossible to define, and everyone’s perspective is correct.
