As a personal stylist, Mariela Ortega has worked with a Who’s Who of famous names: Chiquinquira Delgado for the 2018 Latin Grammys, Valentina Ferrer for Premios Lo Nuestro 2019, and Iman Hasan for Paris and NYC Fashion Week A/W 19, among many others. Her work has also been seen in Cosmopolitan LatinoAmerica, Vogue Mexico, Warner Records music videos, the ad campaigns of Ximena Kavaelekas, Alexis & Carlos Carrizosa and the art installation Raw Pop Up at Art Basel. “I was born and raised in Venezuela and went to the German School, where I was constantly exposed to the European culture that influences my work to this day,” she says. While studying Fine Art in London, her tutor suggested that she enroll in a styling course. She went on to study at the prestigious Istituto Marangoni London and the rest, as they say, is history; Mo-FashionStyling.com.
