After a 20-year journey working in the fashion industry in New York, Estefania Lacayo moved to Miami in 2021 and co-founded, together with Samantha Tams, TRIBU powered by LAFS: an online networking platform which aims to revolutionize the way in which the fashion and design industries connect. Beginning her career at Vogue, she later launched EL Consulting, an agency focused on sales and expansion strategies to help fashion houses create brand awareness. Through this firm, she worked with private labels for diverse buyers such as Saks Fifth Avenue Mexico, Intermix and Scoop, and helped develop brands including Rent The Runway and Ideeli. In 2010, she co-founded Edition01, a luxury e-commerce site that created limited editions in collaboration with firms, designers, artists, and celebrities such as Harper’s Bazaar, Style.com, Vera Wang, Zac Posen and Goop, among others.
