Global Perspective

My childhood was filled with weekends on the beaches between Miami Beach and Key Biscayne, experiencing my fair share of sunburns, jellyfish encounters and way too many tropical waves to count.

“Traveling leaves marks on your memory, on your consciousness, on your heart, and on your body. During each trip, you take something with you, and hopefully you leave something good behind.”

Anthony Bourdain

I was also surrounded by diversity in every facet of my life — from school to neighbors and the constant influx of tourists of all ages visiting Miami. It’s something that I both cherished and took for granted. I think it’s my inherent appreciation and respect for other cultures and perspectives that I so enjoy traveling. To hear different languages, taste new cuisines, immerse myself in the daily life of some faraway land — it’s the most amazing gift to be able to hop on a plane, train, yacht or automobile and just explore. If I’ve learned anything in this life, it’s that home is truly where the heart is. And my heart belongs to the world.
