The first product made by the Maserati brothers back in 1914 was a spark plug. By 1926, they were all about building fast cars, a tradition that continues to this day, as evidenced by the MC20. The technology utilized is, in a word, epic, from the racetrack-ready Nettuno engine set amidships for optimum balance, to the use of a carbon fiber monocoque “tub” to reduce overall weight and thus enhance handling and performance. You don’t drive the MC20 as much as you wear it; the cockpit featuring all-digital instrumentation is engineered to ensure complete control of the car while going from 0 to 62 mph in 2.9 seconds, all the way up to a top speed of 202 mph. Of the four driving modes, GT, Sport, Corsa and Wet, we suggest Corsa for a fully-immersive experience of sound and physics; Maserati.com.
