It may be 75 degrees out, but it will be silly and chilly at The Boca Raton Resort & Club when its croquet lawn turns into a fanciful pink ice skating rink from Nov. 1 through New Year’s Day. And where else but South Florida could you spend the morning at the Billabong Surf School and then ice skate in the evening with the holiday Surf & Skate package. There will be an open skate session every day and night with entertainment provided by the hotel’s resident DJ and concerts by Lynn University’s Philharmonic. If living in the tropics has never let you unleash your inner Brian Boitano, have no fear there are daily lessons as well as weekend and holiday skate camps. The rink is open weekdays from 3 p.m.-10 p.m. and on weekends from 10 a.m.-10 p.m.; BocaResort.com.
