Key Biscayne photographer Kiko Ricote shows his love in Miami: Visually Speaking, a gorgeous book with 200 pages of stunning images of The Magic City.

Many Key Biscayne natives are already familiar with photographer Kiko Ricote’s previous work: Key Biscayne: Island Paradise, a tribute to the place he calls home. In his latest effort, Ricote widened his perspective. Miami: Visually Speaking is the artist’s love letter to the city, a 2-year project resulting in 200 pages of full-color photographs. “It involved a lot of patience and dedication,” he says. “You can’t imagine how difficult it is to get access to places!” Ricote financed and published the book himself, fronting all the costs — including hiring helicopters to get some of the book’s stunning aerial shots. “I try to do everything with passion,” Ricote admits. In this beautiful collection, it shows; $65, OfficialMiamiBook.com.
