
Under the direction of Maestro Eduardo Marturet, this extraordinary evening brings together bold premieres, beloved repertoire, and some of today’s most remarkable artists, shaping one of the season’s most anticipated performances. Electric bass virtuoso Rodner Padilla takes center stage in a world-premiere concerto composed especially for this occasion, showcasing his exceptional artistry and expanding the expressive possibilities of the instrument. Venezuelan ensemble C4 Trio will appear as special guests for the performance of the final movement. Pianist Juan Diego Molina adds brilliance with a riveting interpretation of Federico Vollmer’s Jarro Mocho, in its U.S. premiere, beautifully arranged by Maestro Marturet to introduce a fresh voice into the Latin American concert tradition. The program also features the world premiere of Rosa Prima by Dr. Santiago Bonora, a lyrical and powerful new work commissioned by MISO.
