The Pop Art exhibit features sculpture and paintings from the 1960s through 1990s by Johns, Lichtenstein, Warhol, Wesselmann, Rosenquist, Chamberlain and Segal. In Records of the Past, 60 photographs are on display from the National Child Labor Committee by Lewis Hine. Additionally, this season presents an exhibition of Italian Art: Arte Povera grounded in the 1960s movement where artists subverted traditional ways of creating by using ephemeral and “poor” materials. The historically relevant exhibitions with contemporary art continues the Collection’s founding mission to provide visitors with opportunities for active learning and direct engagement with art; MarguliesWarehouse.com.
