Maraly Cabán
Trust Builder — Four decades of connection define the career of Maraly Cabán, who began as an international model before carrying those lessons of empathy and storytelling into sales and, eventually, real estate. Twenty years ago, she moved to Key Biscayne during a season of family transition, seeking strong schools and a welcoming community to raise her two daughters. Her real estate practice centers on listening over pressure, a philosophy that also shaped Selling To Her, her bestselling book and coaching program built to help entrepreneurs understand female buyers. “The problem is not how many opportunities you have,” she says. “It’s how many you may be losing without knowing why.” Ahead, she is expanding her empire into a full course, including speaking engagements and building a real estate team to extend her buyer-centered approach beyond herself; MaralyCaban.com.

Angela Horton
Coastal Threads — A childhood in Oklahoma City, shaped by a grandmother’s hand-knit cashmere poncho and beret, sparked a lifelong devotion to craftsmanship for Angela Horton. After 19 years in New York and 30 years in fashion, she and her family relocated to Key Biscayne 5 years ago, drawn back after a vacation revealed the island’s exclusive elegance. Her design story spans continents, from a formative stretch in The Hamptons, where she developed the patterns behind her collection, to Italy-based Frette Hospitality. In 2005, she launched her own cashmere company, later designing for Porthault in Paris and immersing herself in an archive of historic fabrics before creating a children’s capsule collection. “When you love what you do, growth becomes natural,” she says. “Always follow your passion and listen to your heart.” Faith, family, and purpose now guide her next chapter, one focused on helping others heal, grow, and step into new confidence; AngelaHorton.com.

She founded her namesake fashion brand focused on color, textiles and craftsmanship, while building MIC Worldwide, a risk mitigation company, alongside her husband. In 2025, she published her photography book, Ethereal Moments, and her work under Heinzmann Art now spans painting, collage and hand-painted silk, exhibited across the U.S., Europe and Latin America. “Never be afraid to reinvent yourself,” she says. “Life doesn’t necessarily have to follow one straight path.”; DafneHeinzmann.com.
