“One unexpected evening turned into everything,” they say. “Serendipity at its finest.” Having lived all over the country together while launching their careers including NYC, Atlanta and Houston, Gustavo, who arrived in Miami as a teenager from Caracas, and Carolina, a Miami native, decided to set down roots in Miami to raise their family. And Key Biscayne was the natural choice. “The island is our dream spot,” they say. “We love the beach vibes and the genuine, close-knit community feel.” When it comes to quality time, the couple loves to move together. “Long walks on the beach, spin classes, gym sessions — it’s easier to grow together when you’re stepping in sync,” they say. “Communication is also woven into our days, and we challenge and push each other, encouraging curiosity and personal growth at every opportunity.” When it comes to advice for a lasting relationship, it’s all about putting family first. “Our kids, Jack (7) and Lola (5) are the center of our world,” they say. “Raising them together, in a place we love, with shared values and intention, feels like our most meaningful chapter yet!”
