The old adage claims that timing is everything in life, and it’s certainly the case for the music industry in Miami. We have some of the very best recording studios and if going global is on your radar — this is the port city to the world. Miami has also given birth to many creative souls, Yvette Gonzalez-Nacer being one of those aspiring talents. Her debut single, Havana, blends her deep raspy voice with vibrant Cuban sounds, pop hooks and R&B influences. Although music is her passion, she started off as an actress, taking part in Nickelodeon’s critically-acclaimed live-action musical series: The Fresh Beat Band. She’s since left that and her opera aspirations behind to focus on bringing her mélange of music to the world — via Miami, of course; YvetteGonzalezNacer.com.
