There are a few things I’ve learned about fashion throughout the years. I’ve realized the importance of style, fit, cut, color and the value of a good tailor. But most importantly, I’ve recognized that true personal style is all about the image you want to portray to the world. It’s about the person you are, or, more importantly, the person you want to be. Throughout my career as a magazine editor, I’ve been very lucky to have had the opportunity to work with and meet some of South Florida’s most talented wardrobe professionals, closet specialists and fashion stylists including Noé César, Marisol Gomez, Elysze Held, Michelle Navarro, Naty Pineda…and so many more. What each one has taught me through their words and their work is that fashion is much more than just a trend, it’s a living, breathing impression that should be taken seriously, albeit not too seriously…after all, at the root of fashion is fun!
