This theme threads through each of the season’s captivating performances — from the magical adventure of The Magic Flute (Nov. 16-Dec. 17) to the heartwarming charm of The Elixir Of Love (Feb. 1-15), and the fiery passion of Carmen (Apr. 12-26). As a nonprofit, every ticket purchased supports FGO’s efforts to bring opera to those who might not otherwise have access. In partnership with over 30 nonprofit organizations, FGO provides free tickets to people across Miami-Dade, Broward, and surrounding areas to experience live opera, many for the first time. Additionally, they bring the magic of music directly into the community through free concerts and private performances at hospitals, schools, nursing homes, and other venues. Through the FGO Angel Program, patrons can also donate an extra ticket when purchasing their own. Last season and this season alone, FGO will have donated more than $1 million worth of tickets to veterans, first responders, and local nonprofits; FGO.org.
