Since its inception back in 2008, the Building The Future Foundation has lived up to and exceeded its mantra “Where Educational Dreams Come True,” by strengthening educational institutions and organizations in the most socio-economically vulnerable areas of Colombia. Their fundraisers — including the flagship 15th Annual Doubles Round Robin Tennis Tournament on Nov. 11 at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne Tennis Center — have allowed them to enhance school facilities, build libraries, renovate school sports fields, donate goods of all types, and even sponsor beach clean-ups. For decades, they’ve lent a helping hand to the less fortunate in Miami as well.
