The term “Station Wagon” may evoke images of Chevy Chase and The Griswolds on vacation, but if you need to haul a lot of stuff, this BMW is a better option than a minivan or gargantuan SUV.

Europeans refer to them as “Estate Wagons” and snarky neighbors will call it a “Grocery Getter”…but the BMW 3 Series Touring manages to combine classic lines and a proven pedigree with enough cargo capacity to transport a small circus. Engine options include gas and diesel models, with a 6- or an 8-speed automatic transmission. Is it fast? Let’s just say the only way you’ll attract police attention is if you have something unsavory hanging out the window.
