Key Biscayners were out in full force this season as a charitable force took hold and the philanthropic spirit was alive and well to the benefit of all those in need of a helping hand.

Key Biscayner’s counted their blessings and thanked their lucky stars that we made it through another year of surprises, twists and turns. With a bright outlook ahead for the New Year, islanders were nothing but smiles as they mapped out their next great adventures.

A special “Runway To Knowledge” soiree was held at Rusty Pelican to benefit Manos Del Sur Nicaragua and Pan Y Amor.

Novecento’s Javier Cividini held a reception honoring Women’s Day where Paulina Montes received an award for all the work she has done for Fundacion Manos Del Sur.

Fundacion Manos del Sur Nicaragua- Asociacion Pan y Amor held their 6th Annual Typical Nicaraguan Breakfast at The Rusty Pelican, with a fabulous fashion show from Coco Paris & Yoly Muñoz Couture, an auction and incredible Raffle Prizes.

Diamonds on the Key held a fundraiser hosted by Cristina Termine at her Key Biscayne residence for Pan y Amor, a foundation in Nicaragua that helps kids in need get a better education so they can set and achieve life goals.

The 7th Annual Champagne Breakfast, Bazaar & Fashion Show by Coco Paris was recently held at Rusty Pelican, benefiting Manos del Sur Nicaragua: Asociacion Pan y Amor.

Ceci Salon & Spa held a grand opening of their newly remodeled spot at Key Colony.

The Key Biscayne Scientist Project was recently introduced in conjunction with Key Biscayne Community Foundation, Knight Foundation and UM’s RSMAS with the goal of helping Key Biscayne stay an island paradise.
