Family and friends all gathered to give the best ferwell wishes to a dear sister, daughter and wonderful friend who is an example to all who have had the pleasure of knowing her.

The American Nicaraguan Foundation held their 9th Annual Gala at the Intercontinental Hotel, with over 500 guests and more than 30 sponsors. The “Masquerade Ball” theme allowed guests the opportunity to dress up and have a great time for an amazing cause. ANF was founded 17 years ago and presided over by Alfredo & Theresita Pellas. Members support over 2,000 organizations in Nicaragua with housing, health, nutrition and education. The gala was chaired by Paco Bendana, Maria Amanda Rodriguez and Theresita Pellas.

TechnoMarine joined forces with Cosmopolitan En Español at The Setai on Miami Beach for Summer Splash, an afterparty for “Premios Juventud” showcasing the hottest swimwear trends.

Six charities from Colombia under the leadership and umbrella of Give to Colombia gathered for a spectacular and breathtaking gala called BELIEVE 2008 at Jungle Island. More than 500 guests help raise funds for the children of Colombia. Guests had the pleasure of viewing a fashion show by Esteban Cortazar for the Emmanuel Ungaro House, dancing to an incredible live concert by Carlos Vives and participating in a silent auction that made the event unique, successful and unforgettable.
