Lighthouse Dreams

Bill Baggs Cape Florida State Park’s 50th Anniversary Full Moon Party & Fundraiser benefited Friends Of Cape Florida and featured a who’s who of Key Biscayne’s finest.

Community first

The Key Biscayne Community Foundation held their annual Aqua Party at The Ocean Club, hosted by Event Chair Christina Termine and Co-Chairs Christine Housen and Ximena Antuñez de Mayolo. It was a great night with cocktails, dinner, dancing and a fantastic auction.

Giving Back

The Eileen McCaughan Memorial Scholarship Fund event was held at Party’s by Pat. Since 1989, friends and family hold an annual pasta dinner to raise funds for the scholarship. Over 100 scholarships have been awarded since its inception, and over $200,000 in scholarship money has been given to more than 100 students in need.

Art Power

The Square Shopping Center hosted an evening of fundraising for a Haitian Art Exhibition. All the proceeds from the paintings that were sold benefit children in Haiti.

Good Cause

The Key Biscayne Women’s Giving Circle is devoted to growing philanthropy among women and was hosted this year at The De La Cruz Collection. The event also supported 3 not-for-profits: The Miami Choral Academy, The Holtz Children’s Hospital ArtCares Program and Design & Architecture Senior High (DASH).

Nature Saviors

A cocktail reception and silent auction to benefit The Marjorie Stoneman Biscayne Nature Center was hosted by Jean Paul and Stacia Bahamondes in Key Biscayne.

St. Christopher’s Montessori held their annual fundraiser at Key Biscayne Beach Club, with several Key Biscayne restaurants participating in the very successful event.

Giving Back

The Key Biscayne Women’s Giving Circle recently gathered to celebrate their support of Ailey Camp Miami, Design Architecture High School and Linda Ray Intervention Center. Guests were entertained by The Miami Choral Academy, which received a grant last year.
