This year’s bodacious theme is Mardi Gras, leading to the event name of — what else? — Mardi Paws! The evening kicks off with a lavish cocktail reception where one can see and be seen, and enjoy a silent auction filled with delights. Then the fun moves on to a delicious dinner, live auction (bid, bid, bid!) and a lavish casino. The past decade has been a whirlwind of activity for Paws — saving lives, nurturing animals back to health, and finding loving homes for them. The Miami Open is much more of a Spring Break for tennis enthusiasts than a regular tournament. Big Brains
Young scientists rejoice! Frost Science hosts not one but two wonderful events on March 1.
