Sometimes a design from long ago is just so good it has to come back. In the 1960s, café racer motorcycles were the thing to have, especially for those made by Triumph. So, too, was Breitling’s Top Time Chronograph. In a nod to the timeless design, Breitling + Triumph have joined forces to introduce an updated Top Time Chonograph and a limited edition of 270 “Top Time” Motorcycles. The dial features high-contrast tachymeter markings and an updated version of the original “Zorro” design, this time in two shades of ice blue. “Top Time” is now under the 12 o’clock hand, with the Triumph logo at the 6 o’clock mark, the original location of the Top Time script. A highly polished stainless steel 41mm diameter case makes the watch comfortable for everyone, secured in place by a stitched-leather calfskin strap reminiscent of a motorcycle seat.
