“I’m known for my tenacity, determination, passion and sharing mentality. I believe in paying it forward.”

Constantinos K. Constantinou bought his first boat at the tender age of 14, a 15 ft. speed boat with a 50 hp outboard engine. Today, this seasoned yachting professional helms the team running Sirena Yachts for The Americas. “The most fulfilling part of my job is sharing time and experiences with other lovers of the sea, and seeing how our yachts become a life-quality contributor in the lives of our customer family,” he says. Fluent in 5 languages, Constantinou has travelled to 30+ countries, and made friends all over the world. Thirty years ago, he owned a very successful bungee-jumping business and has personally logged more than 100 jumps. He’s also flown over 7 million miles on the major airline he usually flies; not counting all the other flights he’s taken. The yachting industry has given him many unforgettable moments as well. One in particular comes to mind. “The rule is always ‘shoes-off’ before boarding a yacht,” he says. “At a major boat show a couple of years ago, I looked for my shoes after getting off one of our yachts — but they were gone. I ended up walking back to the hotel wearing a pair of slippers — still in full suit and tie!” Another memorable experience was the first launch of the stunning Sirena 88. “It was most definitely an unforgettable moment that I will cherish for many years to come,” he says. Looking optimistically toward the future, his plans include growing the family of Sirena owners, and seeing to the company’s continued success for many, many more years to come. “I like to celebrate my successes by giving, rather than self-indulging,” he says. “That said, as a mere mortal, I do have moments of weakness such as getting a nice watch I’ve had my eye on,” he quips. When not at work, he loves working with his hands, and when time allows, he likes to restore old cars and, of course, boats.
