Trick or Sprint?

This Halloween, Miami Beach will once again be taken over by a truly strange sight: hundreds of superheroes, monsters, spooks and sillies running their hearts out. We’re talking, of course, about the Miami Beach Halloween Half Marathon, a run down the boardwalk from Jungle Island to South Pointe Park where goofy costumes are happily encouraged. This year’s event is scheduled for Sat., Oct. 27, and registration is now open. Awards are given for the best times in a range of age groups — and also for the fastest superhero, villain, underwear-wearer, scary person and, last but not least, in the “WTF?” category.
