If you ask people what they’re most passionate about, travel inevitably tops most lists. I’m personally more of a staycation and backyard getaway type of traveler, but I have made the effort to see as much of the world outside The Sunshine State as possible. I’ve been blessed to have had the opportunity to visit nearly every major continent by land, sea and air and I’ve made hundreds of friends along the way, many of which I’ve managed to stay in touch with. Some of them have even made the trip to Miami and I’ve done my best to show them why they call us The Magic City. But traveling is about much more than just sightseeing and photo opps, it’s about meeting folks from across the globe and realizing that no matter how much distance is between us or how different our cultures or languages may be, we’re all human. And we all have similar dreams, values and struggles. More importantly, we each have a little explorer in us just waiting to be awakened and directed toward the horizon to experience the world from a different perspective. And that’s something worth investing in — and prioritizing.
