The exclusive yet egalitarian ambiance tempts you to spend the evening there, and its supporters want to keep it that way. If you asked a fellow diner about the entertainment, they might compare Pavel Vitier’s 3-piece ensemble to the Latin-jazz stylings of Buena Vista Social Club, except no one speaks when the trumpet is playing. There’s no social media machine or PR force behind this event since access is by invitation only.
