From wine and dines to networkers and professional gatherings galore, Key Biscayners took it all in as the new year got off to a great start.

As holiday lights illuminated the palm trees and kissed the balmy night sky, Key Biscayners got all dressed up to celeberate philanthropic endeavors in paradise.

A Million Dreams concert was presented at The Crossbridge Church, sponsored Las Tunas and Fundación Manos Del Sur

Great Properties Int’l Realty celebrated its Christmas lunch at Grand Bay Club to show its appreciation to all it’s agents for all the hard work they do all year long.

An extraordinary gala dubbed Believe 2007 welcomed more than 600 guests to Karu & Y Restaurant to yield funds for six organizations that raise awareness for Colombia’s social needs. It was a magical evening complete with an auction, a fashion show by Silvia Tcherassi and a private concert by Juanes, Fonseca and Fanny Lu.

Mike Aixala and Brigitte Nachtigall hosted a fundraiser at their home on Key Biscayne for the campaign of State Attorney Kathy Fernandez-Rundle. More than 120 guests including family and friends took part in the beautiful evening full of joy and glamour.

A new installation by French artist Bénédicte Blanc-Fontenille entitled Hopping On One Foot On The Rope recently made its debut at The Square, #s 29 & 30. The artist plans to make her new installation a recurring opening, with a new showing every month highlighting the the evolution of her work.

Fundacion Manos del Sur held its 4th annual Breakfast, Bazaar & Fashion Show at Rusty Pelican to benefit Asociacion Pan y Amor in Nicaragua. Pan y Amor feeds, educates and nurtures some of Nicaraguas’s poorest children.

Tom & Norma Travis hosted a dinner party at the luxurious Regent Hotel & Resort in Bal Harbour. Friends and family danced the night away in glamorous attire.

Candelaria Badessich hosted a beautiful birthday party for her husband Santiago’s 50th! It was a wonderful evening full of music, food, fun and entertainment. Many friends came from Argentina to celebrate the wonderful occasion.

The Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Foundation held their unique tasting of the “The Great Wines from America” at the 7th Annual Key Biscayne Wine, Food & Silent Auction Event. The evenings proceeds benefitted the Rotary Club of Key Biscayne Foundation and its affiliated charities for adults and children

Diamonds On The Key hosted a festive VIP party with a lavish Italian-style buffet dinner catered by Puntino. Guests enjoyed a tropical Brazilian show and danced the night away under the stars.
